How I created an AI content strategist with Claude Code

(it allowed me to increase reach by 80% and close $40,000 in the last month)

If you're like me, you find content creation overwhelming. Time-consuming.

You never know which posts will do well and which won't.

You spend hours going backwards with Claude. Only to create boring content. So you attempt to write it yourself and either rush it out. Or it goes to the unfinished post graveyard.

Over the last 12 months I went from over-stretched agency owner to a super lean and mean AI-native consulting business with 90% margins.

The thesis behind this is building with AI at the centre of your business to get insane leverage on your time.

This isn't about outsourcing your critical thinking when it comes to content. It's about knowing when and how to use AI to incrementally 10x your output without compromising quality.

I now have a content strategist on Claude Code who's programmed on everything I know about LinkedIn inbound content marketing.

And now I have a system that enables me to ship 10 long form posts a week, 10 short forms and a newsletter, all in 3 hours a week.

Without the quality dipping. Without writing AI slop. Without living on LinkedIn (rule of three.. AI watchers sue me).

This is the exact machine I've used over the last 4 years to generate:

 $6m in client results

$135m+ in client pipeline

7 figures for myself from content

All with a team of 3.

Some principles to understand before we get into the machine:

  1. This is co-writing, not AI writing.

I simply use my AI content strategist on Claude Code to help me develop my ideas. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE MY IDEAS AND NARRATIVE FOR ME. Original thinking is the only moat left on social. Content is slop without it.

  2. I'm treating my business and personal brand like a media company.

That means increasing my content output exponentially without compromising quality. The leverage that needs is multiple channels, 20-30 pieces a week, designers and engagement. I run a lean ship, so that's $5-10k in headcount minimum. This is the only cost-effective way to capture massive distribution (which is the only moat left).

  3. I call it AI co-writing.

The exact way I'd do it with a human ghostwriter. Only I'm using my AI content strategist to expand and write my ideas instead. It's two layers: one, the Claude skills that draft in my voice. Two, the data that decides what to write and how.

Here's what the content strategist looks like.

The engine:

→ pov-interviewer: interviews me on my angle out loud (Wispr Flow), so every post starts from my real take, not a prompt.

→ icp-mapper: interviews me on who it's for, their pains and the exact words they use.

→ researcher: scrapes my wins + 5-10 competitors and maps the hooks, bodies and visuals winning right now.

→ copywriter: drafts in my voice off my proven winners.

→ what-converts: pulls real conversion data (leads, not likes) before I write a word of bottom-funnel content.

→ design: builds graphics off templates scored by what actually converts.

→ repurpose: reformats each piece for X off how the top accounts present it.

Here's the part everyone gets wrong.

They think AI content means slop. It's slop because they run it off prompts. Build on skills and your real voice file, start from your own idea, and interview yourself by voice, and the output is literally how you talk. Your voice, not a template.

Over the last three months, I've seen zero performance difference between my handwritten and AI-assisted posts. Good content is good content. It comes from the strength of the idea.

That's exactly how I've done all of this without a content team or agency behind me.

This is the system that closed $40,000 from LinkedIn last month.

The best part? I can do it month in, month out.
