The outbound system that generated $125M for founders

Use these five plays to book more qualified sales calls this week

For years, I thought outbound on LinkedIn meant blasting messages, copying templates, or doing whatever the gurus were teaching that month.

It never worked.

Here’s what actually works:

1. Content Led Outbound

This is where your hottest buyers hide.

If someone engages with your content, they already know who you are. Your cover photo becomes a sales billboard. Your headline becomes a positioning filter.

The flow I use:

Open-ended question → What they have tried → Curiosity gap → Pull to Zoom

Thirty minutes a day inside your own engagement list can add 5 to 10 extra sales calls a week. It is the fastest path to pipeline most founders ignore.

2. Profile Views and Followers

Your followers list is arranged by newest first.

Every morning I check:

  • Profile views

  • New followers

  • Who is visiting my content

When someone from my ICP shows up, I reach out immediately. I use the same conversational flow as content-led outbound.

This is the closest thing to real buying intent you will ever get for free.

3. Messaging With Intent

Cold outbound fails when it is unexpected and unwanted.

I let AI source leads based on intent signals like:

  • Funding

  • Hiring

  • Job changes

  • Company announcements

Not all intent matters for every industry. Funded startups care about ramp time. Manufacturing companies care about lead flow and scheduling. You must speak to the right pressure point or your message gets ignored.

Context is everything.

4. The 800 Open InMail Strategy

Most founders don’t know this exists.

Every LinkedIn account has 800 free open InMails hidden inside Sales Navigator. Tools can find them fast. You can also check manually.

These messages land at a much higher rate because the recipient has an open profile.

This one strategy alone has produced thousands of conversations across our clients.

5. Scaling Outbound With Multiple LinkedIn Accounts

When you have message market fit and at least a 20 percent reply rate, you can multiply your output.

We use:

  • Multiple Sales Navigator accounts

  • AI SDRs

  • A shared messaging system

  • Routing rules so the right person gets the right conversation

This loop doubles (and sometimes triples) the number of meetings you can book per month.

But only scale once the message works. Otherwise, you burn your entire addressable market.
